Vintage Anthropomorphic Purple Cow Salt & Pepper Shakers Japan read description

Up for sale is an adorable pair of vintage mid-century anthropomorphic cow salt and pepper shakers. This matching set features a charming lavender/purple and white glaze, accented with bright gold-painted horns, bells, and hooves. Both figurines are stamped JAPAN on the bottom. Excellent cosmetic condition from the front. The paint and glaze are bright, and the gold trim shows almost no wear. One cow is missing a portion of its leg (please see photos of the underside). Crucially, the figurine still balances and stands completely on its own without tipping. The original cork stoppers are missing. This is a lovely, budget-friendly addition to any vintage kitchen, farmhouse decor, or anthropomorphic ceramic collection! Sold as-is. Please look closely at all photos before purchasing.
